We stopped into Neo for a late lunch on Christmas Eve Day 2012. We were on Hilton Head Island for the holiday spending time with family and friends. While my wife and her sister did some last minute shopping my son and I, in lieu of shopping, strictly followed the man code and searched for a place to eat. Our choice was influenced by only two criteria, outside appearance, and extremely close proximity to where we were due to shopping angst induced hunger.Generally our intuitive decisions end poorly but not this time. We were greeted at Neo by Renee who also acted as our server. This appeared to be a relatively new restaurant with innovative decor. The prices are quite reasonable based on the the quality and freshness of the food we were served. We started with an order Deviled Eggs (served with candied bacon on a bed of onion relish) and an order of Pulled Pork Nachos in which both were simply outstanding. For our main course we all ordered a different flatbread with the intention of sharing. Upon receiving our flatbreads the sharing promise proved to be rather difficult to execute due to severe unwillingness amongst the group. Neo is making a sincere effort toward food freshness and is a great representative of the farm to table restaurant movement. We certainly will return and highly suggest you give it a try also. BTW: desserts are killer and unique

Gastropub with delicious food, mostly sourced within 90 miles. We loved everything including the seared tuna lettuce wraps, margherita flatbread, shrimp & grits, and short ribs. Great beer and wine selection. It's hard to find but worth finding. We received a 20% discount for dining before 6. Price was reasonable either way. Service was wonderful.

new places always get the benefits before the criticisms start. husk in charleston plays up the local stuff and its average at best. even if you buy the best local whatever you still have to prep it, cook it and serve it. neo does a decent job. however when the steak tartare looks a little soggy you can tell it wasn't gound just before you ordered it. serving pasta in cold dishes that cools the food before you take your first bite ruins it. it's all in the details and that's the tough part of running a resaurant.

This is a new restaurant. We went for lunch and them menu was large, diverse and unique. They use the farm to table concept. Many of their ingredients are local farms. They have a nice selection of draft beer and wine. I'm excited to see how great dinner is there.

Met some friends here for drinks and apps. The hummus was delish, you could tell it was homemade. Also the tuna app was spot on. Brought my new baby and they made me feel at home. Sometimes resturants look down on that. Very awesome decor and setup. Loved the check presenters..on the front they say " the damage" isnt that the truth :) Cant wait to go back and try some more.
