The selfish part of me wants to give a bad rating just so nobody else finds out about this place. We were looking simply for a laid back breakfast off the beaten path. Ray's is a little out of the way, but the GPS eventually got us there. There is counter seating and some booths along the front. Great food and great prices. My omelet was overstuffed and the side orders of sausage and hash browns were delicious. My wife's eggs were a perfect sunny-side up. The meal was piping hot... No sitting around under a heat lamp. No uniforms or formalities.... service was very casual. But the entire staff was friendly and outgoing. And they kept our coffee cups filled. (Did I mention the coffee was excellent?) The place is clean and simple... Throw your other appearance expectations out the window and enjoy breakfast for 2 for under $20.
