4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

While the people are extremely friendly, and service impeccable, I wish there was more to do in the evenings. I am here in Oct, and the bars close by 8:00. This doesn't leave much to do other than go back to my suite. Otherwise, food was fabulous, golf fantastic, rooms very clean.

This hotel is amazing, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless with a lovely comfy bed and great views over the 1st tee. Breakfast was served on the verandah and was excellent, lovely selection of fresh fruit. This is one of the best places we have stayed in. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, we would love to come back someday.

Room Tip: Overlooking the Ist tee is amazing.

While others in our group had visited Hilton Head before, this was our first visit. What a wonderful way to spend a few days with friends. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a comfortable king sized bed. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub and was much better than the average hotel. Robes and slippers completed the perfect in-room comforts. It was a great weekend with friends that was made even better by the Inn. Our only complaint was a room overlooking the parking lot and tennis courts. I wish we were overlooking the pool.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool and golf course on the back of the hotel. Front rooms overlook p...

I have been coming to Hilton Head every year for the past 18 years, but this was the first time I stayed at the Inn. We stayed for 3 days. It was beautiful and so perfect for a romantic getaway! You can not go wrong staying here. The room and bathroom were great and decorated perfect. The staff were SO friendly and always greeted us. they went over and beyond. There was a bonfire outside one night while we were going to sleep which we were unaware of, we just smelled the smoke in our room so my husband went to ask where the smoke was coming from. The staff asked the people outside put their bonfire out. That is not what we wanted, we just were unsure where the smoke was coming from but that is just an example of how accommodating they were. It is in a central location to anything you want to get to in sea pines, a minute walk from harbor town. Our breakfast was not included, which in the price we were paying I was a little disappointed. Our view was of the parking lot so I would definitely pay the extra money next time for a golf course view. But our stay was great and we want to return soon!

We stayed at the Inn at Sea Pines. The rooms are very luxurious, spacious, beyond comfortable. The service is just outstanding--mostly delivered by young people from around the world working as interns at the Inn.
Everything was absolutely great except for the recommendation to eat at the Topside Restaurant at Harbor Town. The restaurant was loud, food was warmed over, service was slow, and overall a far distance from the type of experience we had at the Inn.

This is a lovely property. Perfect for a two or three day romantic get away. We stayed a week and so the initial charm dulled a bit. The property is basically run by enthusiastic students from universities ranging from the UK to South America. The students are polite, sweet, pleasant -- and learning how to run a property. The learning curve shows up if a request is made outside the box. They don't really know the Island. They don't really know how to muster resources or make recommendations e.g. fishing excursions, restaurants not in the booklet, tours...if it's not in the script they are lost and not sure how to even research it. The Golf Club coffee shop was a little odd in that we were basically ignored while regulars got immediate coffee refills, basic restaurant etiquette was missing -- nice -- hostesses playing tic-tac-to and the head waiter refusing to pay any attention to us. Was it because we were an inter-racial couple? The Beach Club is great with fantastic oceanview/access. It was fun to ride the complementary bikes around the island and the water is sooooo warm. If you work hard, you can get out of the resort complex and eat at some very good restaurants. I'd recommend longer stays take place in the rental units.

Our 5 nite stay at the HARBOUR TOWN INN was perfect including the weather. Our room was perfectly located R. 303 overlooking the charming pool and the Harbourtown golf course. We were on the golf package and played all 3 Sea Pines Resort courses which were in excellent condition. our morning breakfasts were included and the staff most of which were exchange students from abroad were very accommodating. We loved being able to walk into Harbourtown Village and enjoy the shops , the marina, the outdoor entertainment and the lighthouse.
