Ambience- quaint place with a touch of Italian inside.
Service- we went on a Monday around 630 and it was a little busy but it was pouring rain so no outside sitting. I would recommend reservations to ensure a table. Boris was personable even though he was under pressure due to the weather and the increase in guests.
Food- calamari for appetizer. It was battered lightly which was good but very bland in taste even with the sauce. Unless they change it I don't recommend. The bread was served warm with oil. The crust balanced the rest of the bread. Tasty.
Ordered the Gnocchi dish. The sauce had a light taste but we asked for it. The Gnocchi wasn't doughy and it was a perfect portion. My husband ordered the penne alla vodka. This was hands down yummy. The vodka sauce alone was delicious. It had a few shrimps on top which were larger in size. It also had bacon included. I highly recommend this dish.
THEY DO NOT HAVE A KIDS MENU. they will work with you on splitting a plate or allow you to make a plate with your entrees.
Dessert- chocolate brownie with gelato ice cream drizzled with cayenne carmel. Shared among the 4 of us. It was sinfully divine.
