We were told to go here for great shopping and fun. The Disney resort is here as well. We got there around 1pm and you could hear the wind whistling through the trees. There was no one there and several of the stores were closed. We were shocked! One of the few open souvenir stores smelled so badly of mold/mildew that we had to leave. It was quite a dissapointing experience. I don't know where all of the people were but it was very strange that it was sooo quiet. I think that maybe Shelter Cove comes to life in the evening but it was definitely not a spot to go to during the day! Really disappointing! Go to Coligny Plaza instead, way better!!

Yes, there are some restaurants - we didn't eat there that night. The stores aren't anything special - clothing, Xmas shoppe, an art store. The toy store was pretty good.

Shannon Tanner is good for the 2-6 age group, but watch out - he finishes up with a 'story' which is just a long plug for his paid pirate cruise thing the next day. The show was a bit too goofy for my kids, and then we had to explain to one that the pirate thing costs money. Thanks.

I took my kids to see Shannon Tanner and they had a great time. There are several restaurants in the area so we made a night of it. We ate at San Miguel's after the show and had a great meal. I am going to try to come back for the fireworks next time I am in town I heard they were great to watch.
