Enjoy nature with a walk or a bike ride. This has been preserved from development for future generations. Enjoy a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle!

This is just a great place to go for a quire nature walk, or a nice bike ride through a quite nature preserve. Be sure to stop atIris Pond for pictures and viewing the Egrets nesting. Bike trails are flat and very accommodating.

This was our second visit to Pinckney and it's a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Sandwiched between the mainland and Hilton Head is a great place to enjoy some of the Low Country wildlife. We took our bikes and rode on some of the nature trails for a peaceful not-another-day on the beach adventure seeing birds and other wildlife in their environment.

Walked these trails early one morning. Lots of birdlife, even had an up-close encounter with a bald eagle.

Pinckney Island offers a great getaway for hiking, biking. birding, or just communing witth nature of the Carolina Low Country. It's free and I have never seen it crowded The quiet away from the highway, with just the bird and animal sounds is magnificent Bring your own water, good binoculars, and comfortable shoes.
