We have been coming to Hilton head for years and stayed all over the island. Don't bother trying to decide where the best place to . stay is . It is the westin. This was our first time back since renovations and I would tell them great job. Food by pool was great. Service outstanding. Great job

I spent a few days at this hotel recently and it was fabulous! I was on vacation with my family and it was our first trip to Hilton Head. We wanted to see the island and also enjoy the resort. The room was very large and we had a balcony that overlooked the koi pond. The view was beautiful! The room is decorated beautifully and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint about the room was the bathroom. I wish the bathroom would have had a pocket door between the tub area and sink area. This wasn't a deal breaker, but it would have made getting ready easier since we had three people in the room. The hotel has three pools and one that is under covering which allowed me to get out of the brutal sun. The material that the pool deck is made of gets really hot, so beware when walking barefoot! We ate at the Carolina Cafe twice, our waiter was super friendly and the food was tasty. I would most definitely stay here next time I visit Hilton Head!

We appreciate your comments on the guest room having a beautiful view and being beautifully decorated. We are glad you enjoyed the covered pool environment and also the friendly waiter and tasty food at Carolina Cafe. Our brand new pool deck is made of high quality composite material, so it not only looks great, but it does not splinter. However, we do recommend wearing footwear in all outside areas; especially in the hot summer months. We are glad to know you would return to The Westin and look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

After their $30mm renovation, this place shines! Great location and some of the views breath taking. Kristyn at the front desk checked us in and was more than helpful and courteous - even above Westin customer service standards...she is an asset to this property. Staff at view 32 lounge is outstanding and the food fantastic. Beach was incredible and renting of chairs and umbrellas on the beach from the life guards is well worth the $32 rental fee. My only complaint is housekeeping. We never got clean wash cloths for the three days we stayed nor was our Starbucks WakeCup serviced and restocked. I had to call Service Express each day of my stay for those items. However, the response was quick, but the followup call Service Express makes to ensure the requested service items were delivered is a bit annoying. All in all we cannot wait to come back to this beautiful resort!

Room Tip: Most of the ocean/pool view rooms have just about the same view as the premium deluxe ocean view rooms

We have been visiting Hilton Head for years and spent some long weekends at the Weston Resort in recent years. We were really amazed with the recent renovation. It is beautifully done and the staff was very attentive. Daniel Flores was very hospitable and generous and we enjoyed the many hosts and servers in the Carolina Cafe - Jessica Rustoni and Eli, Jannice and Patrick. We wanted to return for another weekend recently but the hotel was completely booked. Not surprised!

Room Tip: Courtyard and ocean view roooms are the best way to go.

My wife and I recently made our first visit to Hilton Head and the best decision we made was staying at the Westin. The location and the facility itself made the stay a perfect vacation as our intent was to spend all day at the beach and the Westin provides for easy ocean access to an exceptional beach location. What we didn't anticipate, however, was the exceptional service and attitude displayed by the entirety of the Westin staff. We had often heard about the famous South Carolina hospitality and the Westin set a standard that is rarely achieved. From the moment we parked out front and met the valet to the time we checked out, every staff member went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the interns the Westin sponsored from England and Ireland and we will remember fondly our visits with Maeve (our favorite server) as we dined and had drinks at poolside. On our next visit to the island we won't be looking at any other resort for our stay and will plan our visit around the availability at the Westin.

Room Tip: If possible, upgrade to an ocean view room on one of the top two floors. The views are magnificent.
