We went to Black Marlin to enjoy the Hurricane Bar and then a great meal. As always, the outside vibe was wonderful. We sat on the couches and enjoyed some happy hour appetizers and our favorites….the hurricane drinks. There was an approaching storm so we decided to eat inside so as not to be caught out in the rain. Unfortunately the temperature inside the restaurant was extremely warm. After ordering great mojitos off the drink specials I had to walk out of the restaurant to cool off, not an easy task in July in HHI. Unfortunately the heat inside the restaurant tainted my view of the food, although the little I did eat was delicious. The entrees ordered included stuffed shrimp and shrimp and grits, two wonderful dishes. I only wish they could have been enjoyed.
Overall a great vibe with a great menu. Hopefully our next visit will be much cooler!
