Very friendly, great place to wait on your flight.
At GSP for an early flight I had breakfast at Windows. Waitress was friendly and very attentive. Restaurant was clean and at a comfortable temperature. Coffee was excellent and kept coming. I had the burrito with home fries. I had to take half with me for later it was so large. The potatoes seemed to be baked and were very light; not greasy at all. Neither was the tortilla. It seemed to be baked also. Really a delight. My wife had pancakes with blueberry sauce and 4 strips of apple wood cured bacon. She liked it also. For an airport the prices are really right. My burrito was $6.59 and hers was about $7. The breakfasts ran from about $6.59 up to around $9. Surprisingly there is a wide variety of breakfasts to choose from.
It would be nice if someone else would review this place. lol
Same friendly Southern greeting. Same great peach cobbler and coffee, but this time I had the grilled Ruben on rye with sweet potato fries. Really good. You can now order drinks from the lounge even on Sunday. That's a change from my last visit. A big negative for a Southern eatery was the tea. By Southern standards it was about a 1 1/2 out of 10. Not good for a 'gateway' to the South. :) The waitress said it was bottled up north or something. Anyway, not good. So pass on it and go with a Coke. They have three dinner entrees, a fish taco dinner, a pot roast and something else. They were all priced just under $10. They have about a dozen nice sandwiches at about 8 or 9 dollars. It was hard to choose the Ruben. They had a good assortments of breakfasts for about 7 to 9 dollars. Parking in the garage is still $1 an hour. The summer of 2012 will see the start of airport expansion so call prior to going to make sure all is well. :)
We enjoyed dessert and coffee at Windows, a restaurant at GSP International Airport. We were warmly greeted by a very friendly waitress who kept our coffee cups full. The peach cobbler had a pudding like texture with a granulated top. I would give it 5 stars, but my wife thought it a bit too sweet. If the quality of this dessert and coffee is representative of the other menu offerings the entrees should be pretty good. The menu is somewhat limited but keep in mind that this is an airport restaurant. Parking is convenient, in a garage, and inexpensive at $1 an hour. They are open until '30 minutes after the last flight leaves'. Call ahead of time if you're going in the evening.
