“Sunday Brunch”

Fabulous brunch on the patio on a gorgeous day. Large portions with all the staples of a great brunch. Waiter was tremendous and the Larkin's Eggs Benedict is worth the trip.

“So-so food, Good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2014

I had the she crab soup, hot Atlantic salmon, and fallen chocolate cake. The soup was not good - way too heavy, and I kept getting pieces of shell in my mouth. It didn't have a flavor, just a lot of heavy cream. And the shell was very off-putting. The salmon was excellent! It had a wonderful glaze and the sauce was tasty. It was a decent size, too. I didn't care for the risotto cake; it reminded me of a hash brown patty. It didn't have the creaminess that risotto should - it was rather dry and flavorless. The cake was blah. It was similar to a brownie in texture, nothing that I would get again. The others in my party were similarly underwhelmed by their food. The service was good, although I felt the waiter was hovering waiting for me to finish my dinner although the restaurant was not full.

“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

We went to Larkin's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing, cooked to perfection and generous proportions. Our children loved the chicken tenders, complimentary shrimp and grits, and of course my spouse and I loved our steak. The filet mignon is 100x better than Ruth's Chris and Morton's in my opinion. Can't wait to come back again!

“Phenomenal ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014 via mobile

One of the best meals we've ever had in Greenville. Our server, Chris, was exceptional. Perfect attention to detail, stellar knowledge of the menu, personable, and kind. Meal was outstanding-we had the sea bass and the filet. Both were artfully prepared and delicious. Incredible wine selection. Everything was perfectly presented, well timed, and delicious. Can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is also perfect. We were here for our anniversary and Bruce and his team made it truly special. We will definitely be back.

“Great location in Greenville, but service not so great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2014

We had tickets for a late show at the Peace Center next door, so we made reservations at Larkin's. The enclosed patio was a bit cool, but warmed as heaters were turned on. Our waitress was very pleasant, but service was very slow. Then when the early show next door let out, the patio was packed with people and doors open. So we were cold, had people standing around our table while waiting in line and waited and waited for our main course. By the time it arrived, we had to rush to finish to make our show time. The food was very good, but wish we could have enjoyed it a bit more.
