We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress took our drink order and brought us bread. My wife and I choose two different wines to try from their extensive wine list. Both were excellent choices and matched the descriptions provided on the wine list. Our waitress explained the special for the day in great detail and answered all of our questions we had about it. I had a spring salad and low country shrimp and grits which were fabulous. My wife had soup and an appetizer which she found delicious. The waitress asked if we were attending the concert at the nearby Peace Center, which we were, and she brought us our check promptly and gave us directions which made our walk there quick. The restaurant was nicely decorated and has great views of downtown Greenville and the Reedy River. For a lovely spot to take friends and family or your special someone, this is the place.

We came here to celebrate our Mother's 87th birthday and it was a perfect day with a perfect meal. We had reservations for 12;30 and were seated immediately by excellent staff. A basket of warm cornbread with pats of fresh butter held us while we pondered the menu's excellent choices. Food came quickly and was perfectly cooked, nice and hot. The vichyssoise was mild, cool and delicious, the wine-perfect! We will definitely be back to this lovely restaurant. After lunch we were close enough to the Reedy River so we wandered downtown and along the river.

What a wonderful place for Sunday brunch. Service is wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. The food is delicious. The views are great and the jazz trio is amazing. We had reservations and it was packed for Mother's Day. The appetizers, lamb lettuce wraps, came 2 minutes before the entree but we understand that happens sometimes. The coffee rubbed strip steak was tender and yummy. The desert, chocolate fudge with coconut ice cream, and homemade marshmallow fluff was to die for. The addition of salty peanuts really brought out the flavor.
This is Greenville, not Atlanta nor New York. We don't claim to be the "big city" but we are a long way from the mill hill.

Excellent food. Quality wait staff. Excellent service. The appetizers are great and you could even make a meal out of them. But don't miss the salads and entrees. And the desserts - WOW. To get the full effect of the menu you'll need to visit several times.
