“Stunning”
Reviewed September 2, 2014

My family and I choose to rude or bikes through the park on the swamp rabbit trail. There was so much to look at and we truly enjoyed every minute of it. The two also leads to Cleveland Park which is right unfunny of the Greenville Zoo.

“Beautiful retreat in the heart of a city - with tons of areas to relax!”
Reviewed September 1, 2014

My fiancé and I visited this on probably the HOTTEST day of the late summer, but (luckily!) there are tons of hidden areas underneath foliage in case you need some shade and a nice breeze. Parking - for a cost OR a small time - is conveniently located nearby. There are also restrooms located off of the property too, and tons of flat land for a picnic or just to lay out in the sun. I think any visit to Greenville should start here, and wander S. Main Street after some relaxation there - OR start with the wandering, and then end here! There were also an ample amount of police presence here too, which made me feel very safe. The highlight is all the picture opportunities one can have from off of the bridge, at the height of the falls, the bottom of the falls OR one of the wandering paths nearby. If traveling during a hot month, I might suggest sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water. Also a great place to bring pets and, with supervision, small children.

“Great park even for a local”
Reviewed August 31, 2014

I have been living in Greenville, SC area for 20 years now. I have seen the downtown area go from boarded up and unsafe to a thriving area and a great place to visit. The park is one of the key places to visit if you come to Greenville. My wife and I visit the park each time we go downtown to eat. A great place to walk off the food. The bridge over the water is an excellent engineering design. It is supported only from one side to give a full for the waterfalls. It is a must to visit the park and walk to bridge if you are in town.

This was a cool beautiful place to visit. Enjoyed it. Close to eateries . We only got to stay for about a hour but would like to come back to this charming place.

“In the middle of this beautiful city is this oasis!”
Reviewed August 28, 2014

There is nothing to dislike. Loved to go for walks or just sit on one of the many benches to read a book!
