My wife and I recently had dinner at this downtown restaurant and really enjoyed it. We had eaten there years ago and decided to try it again. Glad we did! Just to clarify...we lived away from Greenville almost 30 years. The restaurant is still managed by the same family and they have maintained the same traditions....great food...especially steaks....at a very good price. My wife had the filet and I had a strip, both were fantastic cuts. One thing I might mention is the fact that they do not really season their steaks....so for those of you who are accustomed to the heavy blackening and or rubs used by chain steakhouses, you better bring your own because you will not find it here. They will provide some of their homemade steak sauce which is similar to A-1. All in all the food was very good and the price was very reasonable.
