Got tickets for a Sunday Matinee! What a fabulous show. This facility is just outstanding and a real gift to the entire Upstate Area.

We've been attending the Broadway Subscription Series at the Peace Center for many years. We enjoy the theatre and the shows and concerts we have attended. The most recent show, Jersey Boys was absolutely great. Non-stop music and energetic performances.

My only complaint is that, when they remodeled the lobby area, they should have included additional rest room facilities. The lines for the Mens' and Ladies' Rooms at Intermission time are always extremely long, although they do move along reasonably speedily. For the first time we have ever seen, the ushers suggested that we go to the rest rooms in the Gunter Theatre, just outside the lobby, and that worked very well. We;ll probably do that in the future, assuming that the Gunter is open.

First time attending the Peace Center for Jersey Boys. Saw the show in South Florida a year ago and this performance/entertainers were actually better. Only drawback to the theatre was the seating. The rows are long with no break in between so getting in and out at intermission can be slow. The size of seats seemed smaller than usual so next time we will opt for an end seat or box seat to be more comfortable. As usual, not enough restrooms for the ladies so lines were crazy long at intermission.
Convenience: Located on the main street of town. There is a parking garage across the street if you don't want to drive around & find on-street parking. A Courtyard-Marriott is across the street, attached to the garage if you're going to stay overnight. Other hotels are up & down the main street of town as are many quality restaurants.
Can't wait to return to this theatre for their next season.

We travel to Greenville about 2x year to see a performance at the Peace Center, eat at our favorite restaurants (Trappe Door!), and explore the shops. From the ticket process to the facilities to the performances themselves the Peace Center does a wonderful job. The acoustics are exceptional. Only complaint? Seat size. If you happen to be wedged in between two larger people (and, I'm not even talking obese people) you will spend the performance trying to squeeze your arms into your chest so that you won't touch one another. I understand getting as many seats as possible into the theater but this is a flaw in this center. Book an end seat or one of the box seats for more room.
