“Good Eats”
Reviewed June 29, 2014 via mobile

We dined at Sciortino's Trattoria on a Saturday evening and were surprised we were able to get right in. The staff was very polite and the restaurant was comfortable. The dress is casual.. We were wearing shorts and fit right in. A basket of warm garlic knots and rolls awaited us on the table which was nice. The stuffed clam appetizer was very tasty. The salads were spectacular. I could easily order their Caesar salad with a protein and be happy. The veal and chicken Parmesan were both very good. The veal was definitely the winner between the two. The baked ravioli was good but had waaaay too much cheese on top. The calzone was also too heavy on the ricotta and mozzarella cheese. It was too messy to eat and it was gigantic. Overall, very good meal and service.

“Its Usually Pizza and Salad, But.......”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

We usually just get a pizza and a salad when we go but the pizza is the best in Greenville. We usually ask for "extra crispy" and it never disappoints. The owner is usually behind the counter preparing a lot of the meals himself. Their chicken parmesan is very tasty and it is not drowned in sauce. Very well prepared. This is the closest Greenville area restaurant to Italian food served in New York City. The coffee is prepared European style and is strong and flavorful. The cream for the cannoli is brought in from their restaurant in New York. it is to die for. Don't miss this place.

“If u like spicy pasta. A scale if 1-10 is your choice.”
Reviewed May 13, 2014 via mobile

Have had dinner there twice. My first dinner selection was cheese ravioli. Exceptionally generous portion. It was filled with a meat mixture even though I requested cheese ravioli. But wasn't bad. The second selection was lasagne and again most generous potion delicious. Would get that everytime. My husband and daughter had spicy maramara on the 4 th level and LOVED it. Can't imagine the hot of a # 10. Nice atmosphere and good service. Closed on Sunday. Made that mistake of riding 15 min for nothing. But that was ok.

“Now that's italian!”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

The moment you enter the restaurant you are hooked! The aroma of garlic fills the air. Excellent food. My favorite is the eggplant rollatini appetizer. Their sauce is delicious. We visited this restaurant twice in three days! A Greenville staple when we visit.
