Went for dinner prior to a concert at the Peace Center. We were seated immediately, but the service by a waiter and a waiter in training was a bit slow. I started with a cup of squash soup that was delicious. My husband had the beef belly sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had a veggie burger sandwich that was very flavorful, but rather mushy.
Have been there for brunch in the past. Wonderful grits bar and tasty bloody mary's.

We have been back multiple times. The food and drinks are always good. Parking can be a problem. Service is always great.

Salmon with risotto. I asked about the portion size of the salmon and was told a nice 6-7 oz. When it arrived, the salmon was overcooked, yet cold (???) and was actually about a 2x2" square on a scant bed of rissoto in the middle of a GIANT white plate for $17.00. The dish was very bland in color and taste. No other color or garnish...green parsley, lemon, etc. Correctly plating food is NOT rocket science.

There were only 2 couples in the place (we were one of them). Two servers, and our server was so busy doing something else that she barely visited our table other than to take our order and bring the order and the check. No drink refills.

Our first and last visit. We made reservations for 4 on a Saturday night. Had prepurchased online special 3rd Anniversary certificates, $50 for $25 good only for February just so we could try this place out, and believe me, you need $50 for 2 people at this "gastropub". 1 beer each and an entree exceeded $50 not including tip. Service was almost non existent. We actually had food getting cold and had to wait to eat while someone brought silverware to the table. Fish and Chips wasn't much better than McDonalds and at $19 for the entree, was very disappointing. The pork tenderloin was supposed to be medium and was overdone and dry on both of those who chose that on our visit. We can do better staying home! As the evening wore on from 7pm to 8:30 it got more crowded and VERY loud. In the end our bill got mixed up with that of our companion diners' so it was wrong. Soby's excellence has NOT carried over to this establishment.

We had just arrived to Greenville for a Concert at the Peace Center...Walked over from the Marriott Downtown and thouroughly enjoyed a lunch and a beer at The Nose Dive from a friend's suggestion...Much to our joy it was delightful!..Great food simply prepared and well served..Very attentive staff plus so convenient to all major locations downtown...We were so happy to find it and will make sure to go again and often!
