I had a lunch date set at the Hyatt but with that place in disarray with its renovation (UGH). I needed to find another restaurant, stat. I used my TripAdvisor app and, thanks to my fellow TripAdvisors, found The Green Room as the best rated restaurant that was within a couple of blocks.
But it was only fine. It seems like every other restaurant in a historic district of a smallish town. The vegetarian sandwich, called The Orchard, was passable.
I really dislike when my hair and clothes smell like a restaurant that I have been in several hours later. Wouldn't it be great if these places got decent ventilation systems?
Next time I am in Greenville, I will try something else. The Green Room isn't worth a second visit. But it is fine in a crunch.
