As some others have mentioned this was a bit hard to find (we did not realize it was part of a mall), but we kept traveling around a mall in the vicinity of the GPS directions until we found it. Thank goodness there was an outside sign and entrance because we would not have wanted to miss the treat of eating inside! We entered at around 1:30pm; Angie was our pleasant and very helpful cashier. Larry and I both wanted the roast beef on asiago, which came adorned with horseradish, lettuce, tomato, red onion and smoked cheddar. When Larry and I were wondering aloud about the bread, Angie jumped in and suggested we have the asiago foccacia round, rather than the asiago demi. We went for two of those @ $7.49 each and added a $.99 dessert special, as well. I have seen others' reviews that state Panera's menu is pricey. Well, we were on an out of town trip and definitely on a budget, appreciating value, however, the quality and freshness of our food left us feeling satisfied that we had indulged in a great deal. The atmosphere was off-and-on lively as folks came and went. Since no one was waiting for a table, we decided to pull out our laptop and kick back with our bargain desserts (a large cinnamon roll and a huge blueberry scone... only $.99 each!), as we checked out local attractions to visit. We have enjoyed Panera's for years, while in Jacksonville, Florida and near our home in Goose Creek, SC. It's always been nice, but this Panera's was extra special with its lovely, happy atmosphere and employees!! Special shout-out to the sweet lady who was so kind and attentive, clearing the tables. : )
