Description: The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East and a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged. The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes. Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of that and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like".

This is a great place with a nice little outside patio overlooking the Reedy River. The menu is loaded with fresh fish set in an Italian/Greek/Sicilian flavor. Service is very good, prices are reasonable & they have valet parking on fri/sat/sun evenings.

“One of the Best in the Area”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

This restaurant was mentioned to us by one of the staff from Furman University. It is a very happening place. The interior of the restaurant is very contemporary. There is outdoor seating which is next to the river. We sat inside and had a very pleasant waitress. She made some interesting suggestions: we had tapas and it was half price night for a bottle of wine. Lucky us! Can't wait to go back.

“Great Saturday Lunch with our 6 Year Old”
Reviewed April 21, 2013 via mobile

My son loved the pizza and our sandwich, salad and appetizers were awesome. Cool Cuban and the fries are the best.

“Best Mojito in Greenville.”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

I love the Lazy Goat and have eaten there many times. I've never been disappointed. We just had our rehearsal dinner there as well and they did a fantastic job. Very attentive, great veiw of the West End, great menu and were always there to fill our drinks. You must try the fried goat cheese, Moroccan lamb, and their steak frites. Their cocktails are very good as well. Best Mojito in Greenville! And it is very reasonably priced.

“The Place To Go IN Greenville”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This has become our favorite spot as we learn more about the Greenville restaurant scene. We have had 6 meal here over the last several months... lunch and dinners, inside and on the terrace, as a couple and with friends. There is nothing on the menu we have had (or friends) that was not rated very good to excellent. Sitting watching the river role by, enjoying a cheese plate and glass of wine... perfection. Service is great. (Interesting bathroom set up.)
We highly recommend.
