This place sucks in a big way! Where are you dhec? Need to check this place out. Middle of summer and the swimming pool looks like a sewage tank. Disgusting and most definitely overpriced. If it were $20.00 a nght it would be overpriced. I hope I don't contract disease from filth and nastiness.

Horrible experience with night staff. Lady clearly does not value her job or her customers. We were assigned room 121 that evening the air condition broke. We asked to be moved to another room and were told we would have to pay for the additional room.

Very small, nothing fancy. Price was right at $57 for 2 doubles. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean, AC worked well. Bathroom older, but updated. Very quiet, no room noise. Would have no qualms with staying here again if in the area.

We always stay at Harbor Inn when we are in the Georgetown area. Our stay is usually for business. It is moderately priced. It is nothing fancy, but is adequate. It is clean and comfortable with micowave and frig. Also, it has always been quiet when we have stayed there.

There is a reason why the rates are as low as they are. If you're just passing through and don't care about the "extras" then this is the place for you! It is conveniently located off 17 and very easy to find. It has a small lobby area with an outside window for checking in after hours. There is a note stating that if you check in early before 2pm, there is a $20 surcharge.

The room is small in size with just enough room to manuever (don't let the picture fool you). I'm a small girl and could touch both the dresser and foot of the bed at the same time (they're *maybe* 2ft from each other) Our room had an odd (not bad, just odd) overpowering smell when we walked in. We couldn't pinpoint what it was- we thought maybe just cheap cleaners/disinfectant. The bed was hard, but worked for the night. The sheets are "off white/beige" color- it can appear as though they're not clean. I would advise to bring your own pillow as the pillows on the bed are flat and 2 pillows didn't do it for me.

There isn't a separate closet area, just a hanging bar in the corner of the room (bring your own iron if you think you're going to have the need for one, since one is not provided). There is a small refrigerator (ours had a smell to it), microwave, and coffee pot (did not utilize either, so I can't comment on smell/cleanliness).

The pool was not functional (it was green and obviously not cared for)- major disappointment for a summer weekend in SC (Again, don't let the pictures fool you). Our room also had a noticably large hole that had been repaired, but not painted over. The maintenance in the hotel was obviously lacking.

We did not utilize the advertised continental breakfast, but there is a McDonalds & Burger King down the road if it's not to your liking.

Room Tip: No tip to give except if you are a "hotel snob" this is NOT the place for you.

My bathroom floor was soaked from something, nearly busted my [--] from falling on the floor. The patio is worthless, the only view you'll get is a dumpster full of trash with cats going through it. Someone (a housekeeper) left a wet washcloth that smelled like it was mildewing. Yeah, I'll never stay here again.

Not American owned! but is half the going rate of hotels in this town. If I was in this town I would stay here again. Breakfast is not worth writing about. A/C unit worked almost too good. Yes it is dumpy but was better than sleeping in the car
