We stayed here for two nights before checking into our condo across the street. This was a great last minute deal. The room was furnished very nice and the room was spotless. We were in room 219. I will look to stay there again next year.

Room tip: Try to get a room on first floor. There was no elevator that we could find.

Wonderful place to stay... the beach was right across the street. It has a nice pool and outside grills and pinic benches, was very family oriented ...loved our unit...was very quite at night... check in and check out was very easy...would highly recommend and will definitely be returning...

Best thing about the place is the location to the best. Stayed at Sandy Shores I on 2 occasions unit #205 and #104 most recently. Building is old and shows age. Interior is dated and you can hear a lot of noise from the outside as well as your neighbors above you, below you and on the sides of you. Lots of loud trucks around with (hip) mufflers that can be heard from the inside as well as when setting at the pool the noise is ridiculous. The pool is small and was closed several times during each visit. Parking is limited and golf carts are not allowed. Not convenient or walking distance to anything but the beach, 1 mile from the pier and no stores within close proximity without driving. Was not that family friendly as we had young people above use who did not appear old enough to be renting. At times had to move the kids inside from the balcony as you could smell pot being smoked within close proximity. My suggestion is to keep looking for a better place.

Couch and stools at counter stained/dirty. Sliding glass door seal broken/discolored. carpet dirty. Ironing board is small table size (inadequate). Not enough towels with the reason that you have a washer and dryer-who wants to do laundry every other day and have to buy the soap. Lamp switch in bedroom broken. When you leave you have to remove trash, strip beds, load all linens in kitchen. The place in general needs an overhaul/facelift. I would not stay here again. You have to go a few miles down the road to get and return keys, items

Exceptional resort with superior staff. Easy check-in /check-out, very convenient to everything, yet far enough away from the crowds. Enjoyed having everything we needed for holiday dinner, as well as family time at beach and in local area. Would definitely go back!

Room tip: Second floor was great, no noise.
