Hampton Inn is a consistent brand. The HI-Gaffney location represents the brand at a high level. The Check-In staff set themselves apart during this business trip by doing all they could to make sure my stay was the best it could be.

Great place to stay. Excellent Staff and great breakfast bar. Staff attentive to your every need. Would recommend this Hampton Inn because of location, price, and service. Within walking distance of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Dicount shops abound.

I did not realize that there was not a gym at this hotel until I asked where it was. However, they did provide access to a local gym which had a full workout facility. This worked out very well. Overall, a nice place to stay in Gaffney. It was clean and quite. The breakfast was okay. It had the standard waffles and cereals. The eggs seemed a little too fake. Good location if you like to shop.

Dear Raymond,

With such a small space to build the hotel a hotel gym would never do any guest with health minded lifestyle justice. That is why we decided not to compete but to compliment. Our partnering with a full service local gym was more then we could every house locally. So why try and recreate when our local partner has everything you need and more. I hope other travels understand that we want to offer those whom are fitness minded the best in a gym we can make available during your stay. I hope future guest know that the front desk is more then willing to share this local connection with each and every guest. Just stop by the front desk and our associates with help you with a full functioning gym for your pleasure.

Reservations were not made prior to arrival, which was approximately 8pm. We were told that we were booked into the only King room available and that the area may smell of smoke from smoking rooms nearby. The room had a musty smell but not significant. No additional issues were found that evening after returning from dinner. Upon awakening the following morning that we were checking out, we were surprised to find lip stick and smudges on the bathroom mirror and a dirty washcloth in the tub. If housekeeping missed highly visible items such as these, how could you believe that the rest of the room had been cleaned after the prior guest. On the bed headboard was a yellow stickie note stating that the bedding is cleaned between guest stays, like I believe that now. All areas were suspected to be unclean after what was found in the bathroom. When we notified the front desk, they inquired why they were not notified of the issues to address, where we explained that we happened upon the significant housekeeping issues only this morning. The complementary breakfast was offered but after the cleanliness of our room, we were skeptical of the cleanliness of the breakfast preparation. I have been a long time customer with the Hilton family but this facility did not meet my expectations. The Hampton Inn 100% satisfaction guarantee was not discussed as an option which I believe is the minimum compensation for a loyal customer dissatisfied with the unexpected and unsatisfactory state of the bathroom.

First, the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the rooms were ok. They didn't feel dirty but they certainly weren't up-to-date and give me a comfort feeling. For what I got, I felt they were way overpriced.
