Cleaner, friendlier and just plain more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Good bar food and always something going on. Planet Follywood has definitely replaced Sand Dollar as the winner of the "Locals hangout" for me.

Fun lively place to visit, whether you're a local or a tourist. Food is great, and the entertainment is never-ending! Where else on this planet can you go for free spaghetti on a Monday night??

This is the perfect restaurant beach experience. Walk in in your bathing suit, sandy feet and have a cold beer. The food is good, the ambiance is perfect. Not five stars but golly, this is the beach!

Every time I have been I get friendly service & fresh food! If your looking for an all american pit stop on your beach vacation stop at Follywood! There fried mushrooms were amazing!

Think of a bar at home that has a slightly questionable reputation, but is still a place you love to go with friends to hang out. Nothing too fancy, but comfortable. The antithesis of the chain places and cool exactly because it is not trying to be cool. That is Planet Follywood. We went for a late lunch and loved it! While I am sure it is packed at night, we had no problem getting a table for six on a weekday. Service was attentive and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. The clam strips were great, and others enjoyed the fish and fries and the Philly cheese. The cheeseburgers also got rave reviews. Definitely on our list to visit again next time we are in the area, but will likely stick to a daytime visit to avoid the crowd.
