“New breakfast spot to rival all others!”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

In the 200 block of W Palmetto just around the corner from US 52 Business, there's a new kid in town. I ate there this week, loved the experience.

The breakfast menu is extensive, so it took me a bit to decide what to try for my first visit. I eventually settled on an omelette with chopped, grilled chicken, brocolli, mushrooms, cheddar and a few other things. It came with a choice of wheat or white toast, grits. I elected to get the red potatoes for a small up-charge. The ingredients were fresh, not overcooked and very tasty.

The server is not as well-versed on the bill of fare as one would expect, but be persistent and you'll come out on the winning side. They use cloth napkins, that's a bonus that was unexpected. There are two spacious dining areas, so you'll probably never have to wait to be seated and served. The large windows afford you a nice view of the downtown Florence skyline as it changes with its new development. There's plenty of parking too. They open at 6 on weekdays, but they're open 7 days a week.

There's 9 different omelettes, pancakes, waffles, traditional egg & meat combos, biscuts and sandwiches with several sides. If you can't find something to satisfy, you're not hungry! There's even real butter for those who still indulge. Their menus for all three meals are on Facebook, so it doesn't have to be an unknown quantity experience. It's a mix of American and Asian cuisine after breakfast.

They've only been open since summer, 2013, so they are still building a customer base. I'm in, are you?

“Enjoyed a very good lunch”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Stopped here for lunch and had a very enjoyable meal. We ordered the chicken long grain bowl and the 3 meat combo long grain bowl and we were both surprised at how large the servings were. Very generous helpings of meat especially on the 3 meat combo with large portions of beef chicken and shrimp! Both meals were very tasty. Decor inside the restaurant was very plain and simple, so do not expect anything fancy.

“Affordable with Familiar & Unique Offerings. You can't miss!”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

Asian - Southern Comfort Fusion. What???? We had to give it a try, and now have been back several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners are Asian and they bring a sense of freshness to all of their menu items, but particularly anything to do with vegetables. The menu items are varied and about half of them are truly unique. Fried fish on the breakfast menu along with "Waffles and Wings", eggs... Lunch and Dinner have hot and cold salads, stir fries and rice bowls as well as several daily specials more in the "Southern Blue Plate special" variety. The prices are incredibly affordable for the quality and quantity of food provided. The restaurant is immaculate and the servers eager to please. They can seat from 1-20 or more (I have also had dinner there with a large group). They open at 6 a.m. every day, serve breakfast and lunch every day, and dinner Tuesday through Saturday evenings. The atmosphere is very casual, the restaurant is well lit by sunlight, but not glaring. All in all it is a very pleasant place to have a meal.

“Best breakfast place in Florence.”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

I've been here several times. Every time was awesome.

The breakfast is great, and they are open on Sundays, as opposed to most of our other non-chain food options in Florence.
