Fish tacos? Pimento Cheese? Burger?
You can get it all wonderfully prepared. Just be willing to wait awhile for the end result. They are alwyas busy and the food is always yummy.

“The Best place in town”
Reviewed May 2, 2012

Can't say enough. First my husband orderd the chicken wings with the homemade hot sauce. The sauce is made with homegrown peppers. The plants are actually on the deck!! BEST wings ever. And he is a wing lover. The burger was hand-formed and what a great sauce. The next day we went back and slpit the fish tacos. OMG 2 very large lightly breaded flounder filets arrived in flour shells with an amazing slaw mixture. Homemade potatos chips also. We were so full. The food portions are rather large but the staff give you an extra plate without making you feel cheap!! Speaking of staff, they along with the food, make the Jungle Shack a great place to visit.

“Love This Place!”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

It should be on Triple D. You sit on a screened in porch and eat fried food. That is what you do on vacation. Lunch one day was flounder for me and shrimp for my wife. Both with slaw and home made chips. The slaw has a dash of horseradish to give it a kick. A funky little place with attitude.

“Try the special”
Reviewed April 18, 2012

This is a sandwich shop with a plus. The normal menu is supplemented with a daily special, and unlike many specials this one really is. There's no view except a parking lot, but the patio provides outside dining. The people are uniformly nice.

“Remember the Pimento Cheese Burger”
Reviewed April 12, 2012 via mobile

It looks and feels like a dive when you drive up..that's what is great about this place. Walk up from the beach in shorts, shirt and flip flops and dive into the best pimento cheese burger you will find in this area..the pimento is made from scratch. Try dipping your hot fries into a little McConkey's sauce or their homemade ghost pepper sauce for an added kick. We have always found the service friendly and yes, you may have to wait a little while if they are busy, but remember, they aren't a McDonalds (thank god), your at the beach!
