We'd heard the food at this place was pretty average but the decor would make it worth the trip. Let me say, up front, we didn't eat here because we've never been so rudely "greeted" and, in the end, decided that we couldn't accept much less reward such poor service. This was Saturday evening before Mothers Day. We came in from the back parking lot, up onto the "porch." Now, we'd never been here before and there didn't appear to a full house out on the porch. There were no signs saying that this was overflow dining only; in fact, there was a hostess station and some benches out there, making it appear as though it was a real restaurant that expected to greet and seat customers from that spot. There was also no sign saying to come to the front (street side) of the restaurant to be seated. When someone finally came out of the restaurant (and it took quite a while), she pretty much berated us - and not just a little bit - for being out there because there were plenty of seats inside. So, at this point, I don't really care how unique their decor is because there's no excuse for treating customers that badly. I realize it may have been just one person having a bad day but, I promise you, I've got a temper and flown off the handle a time or two and even I have never spoken to a customer that way. I wish them well, but it won't include supporting them with my patronage.
