My family which includes 4 teenagers, ages 17-14 arrived at the bed and breakfast to a beautifully lite and exquisitley decorated home. We were welcome by Michael the innkeeper with warm hand shakes and a smile. We were shown to our 4 rooms, each more beautifully decorated than the last. Antique furniture and accessories abound, the beds were amazingly finished with many pillows, throw pillows and bed linens fit for a princess! Complimentary water, soda ,wine and beer were available to us. We were offered the choice of breakfast times; the following morning at 9:30 we entered the diningroom to find a magificently set table where fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, water along with an amazing yogurt fresh peach and blueberry parfait topped with granola awaited our tastebuds. The main course served on fine china consisted of two pieces of light fluffy quiche, one spinach and cheese the other bacon, accompanied by fresh ripe slices of cantelope and musk melon, along with sliced strawberries lovingly made and arranged by Michael. Plenty of great conversation flowed freely amongst the guests and inn keeper. This is a definite must see; we will undoubtedly find our way back to Dillon South Carolina to visit Michael and experience this extrodinary inn again.
