Been stopping here for 20yrs. Fun tourist shops with all kinds of novelties. Hotel not fancy, but great price, has outdoor & indoor pool. Indoor heated pool &steam steam room great for this cold weather! Hot tamale restaurant has great prices if looking for something not expensive. They are painting & updating everywhere at the SOB. Much needed! Lots of funny statues to take cool oics with.

...which is a tourist trap with gas, bathrooms and kinda questionable looking shops and eateries.

It looks basically the same as it did in 1990 and 1986.
We stopped on the way there and the way back to use the basically clean bathrooms.
We got gas on the way to Savannah--there are cheaper places and the convenience store leaves much to be desired by way of...stuff. But whatever It's SOUTH OF THE BORDER!!!

We visited the hats of 1000 nations. Not so sure about all that but it was free entertainment/ window shopping while we stretched our legs.

If you go with 0 expectations, you won't be disappointed.

This place has played out as a tourist trap! We stopped here for a bathroom break and only about 4 other people there. We looked as we passed by on the way back thru and seen 2 cars! I cannot see how they sustain this place with no more traffic than I see!

Stopped in here back in mid 70's when U.S. 301 was THE main highway in this spot. Now SOB has stretched across both sides of the highway. Still the touristy thing, Food was surperb and huge servings, clean restrooms.

This is a piece of Americana on I-95. Just reading the signs on the approach to the site is an attraction in itself. Signs like "I never sausage a place" and others are hilarious. Kids and adults will enjoy the attraction itself which contains restaurants, souvenir shops and a walk up high rise Mexican hat. You have to stop in.
