Had lunch at the Rivertown Bistro on an early May Friday afternoon. Restaurant was recommended by a bartender in Myrtle Beach. We were more than impressed. Venue was inviting (we were seated on the second floor), service was professional and informative and the food was amazing.
We were told the vegetables are local...based on their taste I have no doubt. Food preparation is of the quality delivered by a four star restaurant.
We had Lowcountry Spring Rolls for an appetizer (chicken, spinach, tasso ham, cheddar and jack cheese, fried and served with honey dijon), for our main lunch we had the Bistro Wrap (grilled chicken, pear, sautéed onion, blue cheese dressing, spinach tortilla) and the Seafood Burrito which included Charleston red rice and succotash.
Next time we're in the area...actually the next time we're within 50 miles, we'll be back!
