I own a second home about 10 minutes from Rotelli's and ever since friends of mine took me there, it is always on the list of restaurants to visit at least once, usually twice, during a visit. Everyone I have taken there loves it!

This is the first time we ate at Rotelli's and we will be returning. The food was home made and excellent as was the service. The meat sauce had a lot of meat in it and the lasagna had more cheese than any I have ever had. The bread, dipping sauce and house dressing were all good and the salad was fresh and crispy. The veal parmagina was not a patty but a real veal chop that had no fat or grizzle. Excellent. Everyone was very friendly. We were to full to enjoy any of their deserts but they sounded scrumptious. They have pizza night on Tuesday and a large pizza is $7.50. We plan on trying that next week and hope the pizza is as good as the entries. If future meals are this good this will be one of our regular restaurants and will add it to the list for our dinner group. Highly recommend giving it a try.

The pasta is on par with what you'd get at national chain restaurants, and the pizza is above average. For lunch you can get a combination half sandwhich and pasta or slice of pizza (or something like that) for about $6 dollars. The atomosphere is higher end than you usually get at a restaurant in the same strip mall as a physcial therapy company.

We live in CF and avoid downtown MB in season but now that we rediscovered Rotellis we can also enjoy fresh fish without fighting the crowds. We were there @6 on Sat. Night, not much of a crowd since CCU was playing across the road. We were greeted by the hostess, shown to our table and the server immediately came over offering drinks and with some new wine specials. After ordering drinks she explained the specials and left us to peruse the menu. I was Happy see scallops and tilapia both on the special menu. We ordered stuffed mushrooms to start and the sauce was just begging to be mopped up with the fresh crispy bread. My husband ordered the tilapia over angel hair, which was presented like the cooking shows. I had the comforting penne carbonara, took 1/2 home, it was so much. Both came with salads and were reasonably priced @15/17 and what quality! Megan the owner came and greeted us and asked if we were pleased and mentioned that she was bringing new, varied wines at reasonable pricing to the restaurant. We enjoyed everything from the food, service and atmosphere in this reborn restaurant. Kudos to the management, servers and chef for a wonderful experience close to home. We will be putting this one into our rotation.

The new owners (Michal & Meghan) have really made this a destinaton of choice. The bread is made fresh daily, as is the mozzarella. Service is great, have enjoyed everything I've ever tried on the menu. We get a group together for dinner there at least once a month and we are never disappointed.
