The food is fresh and well prepared. The service is always outstanding. The hamburger is one of the best in town. The chips with blue cheese is my favorite indulgence.

Moving my son in to freshman dorm at USC and hungry for lunch. Stopped by Harpers on the look and were not disapppointed. The guacamole was made fresh at table side and wonderful. My son had pulled pork sandwich and i had the tomato crab avacado salad. Service was prompt, food was nicely prepared. GOod beer selection. Sunday lunch was lovely but can see (or hear) the noisy atmosphere for dinner. Worth it for the variety on the menu. Will definately try back on visits over the next 4 years at USC.

Our group went to lunch at Harper's; I ordered the Chicken Von Yogi with a side of collard greens. First, the collards had to go back; they had a taste of pine oil cleaner; horrible! Substituted grilled asparagus; it had a too-strong smoke taste with hints of chlorine bleach. It, too, went back. The chicken dish was less than mediocre; the mayo in the chicken salad separated because of too much heat, the toast was soggy, and the cheese was a gummy mess. I mentioned this to the server; she collected the manager, and to his credit, he provided comp dessert--and it was excellent. Still a disappointing experience with the food, although the service was excellent.

Always love Harpers! Casual fine dining atmosphere but not overpriced. Best brunch in columbia hands down. Other great menu items include the pimento cheese dip, the sweet potato fries, salads, and pulled pork bbq. Service is always fantastic here, and the food is consistantly great. Wonderful experience every time.
