What a fun evening! We scheduled a private tour and it was so fun to visit 5 restaurants in The Vista. We had a libation and a food tasting at each stop - we were surprised at the amount of food each restaurant served for their tasting. We also had a tour guide from Historic Columbia so it was informative as well as fun. I would recommend this. One caveat is the last restaurant on our tour was a longer walk than the others...the rest were very close to each other. They do rotate the restaurants so ask if this is a concern.

The ladies and speaker were all very nice. I have lived in Columbia for years, but learned a good bit about the history of the Vista area on this outing. The stops for snacks were well chosen. I would recommend this to a friend.

A group of us from Columbia had a wonderful evening exploring our Vista area restaurants for a sampling of their menu items and, at the same time, Historic Columbia volunteer Jeff, gave us an informative narrative of the history of the area. Several of the restaurants we were not familiar with but now we are!!! And we will be back! Such delicious and generous food items at each venue. Gloria and Janet had everything perfectly arranged and were so easy to work with in setting up a truly memorable evening for my group. Thank you!!

We had such a good time. I have lived in SC all my life and most of it in Columbia and found restaurants that I had not been to that I will return to. I also learned some history new to me. If you are new in town I would highly recommend this tour. The two gals were entertaining and the tour guide was interesting and entertaining as well. Did I mention the food was delicious.

We've done this tour twice -- it's a great activity with out of town guests. Historic Columbia provides the tour guide and we've learned interesting facts about the Adluh mill, what all those chimneys on the tops of some buildings really signaled and the way the railroad shaped the Vista. In between, we stopped for some yummy bites. Only one repeat restaurant on the two different tours, so the gals do try to mix it up. And a word about the gals themselves -- they are as gracious and enthusiastic as you could hope and really work to make sure everyone has a good time.

Be sure to dress for the weather and be prepared to walk. Highly recommended.
