We went to a late afternoon Mass up the street and just wanted a bar snack and a craft beer before heading back to the hotel. Liberty is just a short walk from the Hilton Columbia Hotel and so we stopped there.
Originally part of the railroad station in Columbia, the restaurant is longer than it is wide and the bar takes advantage of the building's length. It must be 30 feet long. They feature quite a few craft beers which we took advantage of. We were walking back to the hotel so we could have an extra beer while enjoying our bar food.
We had the hand-tossed pizza which arrived at our place at the bar quickly. Very tasty and just enough for the two of us. We had several craft beers before heading back to the hotel.
The ambience is upscale, downtown, youngish. Busy but not overly loud. Very nice place.
