“One Of The Best Sunday Brunches Anywhere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2014

We have eaten Sunday Brunch at Oak Table on a number of occasions, and it really deserves some recognition. It is one of the best anywhere. The dishes are inventive and delicious. The sticky bun is remarkable as are the various egg dishes. This is a must do when in Columbia. The atmosphere is great, the food is great, the service is excellent. What more can you ask?

“Better at night than during the day.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

I ate here 2 different nights this week while in Columbia on business. I had eaten here for lunch before several times, and had not been impressed with either the food or service.

These two dinner visits were very good. The service both nights was great (one might I was with a large group, one night I was one of 4). With the exception of the beet salad, which they need to work on, all of the food was very good. Portion sizes were just right, and the food was prepared and presented well, and tasted great. I think the entree prices are a bit too high, particularly for the market, but that and the beets are my only complaint.

“Great Brunch (and bar!)”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2014

My husband and I visit Oak Table on a regular basis. Our favorite meal there is Sunday brunch... food is delicious and portions are filling. Try the ricotta fritters or the sticky bun to start, you don't be disappointed! And the Bloody Marys are nice and spicy. It's also a great spot for a weekday happy hour. Lauren behind the bar is always creating feature cocktails if you like trying new drinks. They have a good bar menu of appetizers to start your night, and a beautiful view of the SC State House across the street.

“Good Food and Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

We dined here during restaurant week. Nice choice of 3 course menus. The charcoutrie was nicely diversified with duck, pork and chicken liver mousse. The sweet onion bisque was to die for! NIMAN RANCH PORK CHOP was perfectly cooked, and the brussel sprouts with poltena oh so tasty!

Service was attentive and pleasant. Our table was a but dark and poorly lit, but that was the only sour note.

“Great dinner”

This food forward restaurant is always innovative in its menu and cocktail offerings. I like the fact that it sports a casual ambiance so you can dine in a pair of jeans or a khakis.
