“Great place to get out and stretch your legs when the temp. warms up”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

As you shed the cold winter darkness and look to the days of spring and sunshine it is a perfect time to get out to the park. Grab the dog and off you go. Always clean, safe, and a great place to disconnect and feel outdoors while being only steps from the city... Truly a special place in Columbia.

“Wow! You gotta walk the path.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

Great recreatioinal area to do some walking and (gasp) biking. Very picturesque. While I haven't done any fishing here I see many others do. Take your camera as there is lots of wildlife spotted from martens, turtles, snakes, birds and even deer and an aligator once in a while.

“Pretty River front”

Great place to go run off some steam. Miles of paved running trails with lots of green space. This was probably my favorite place in Columbia.

“Jewel of the city!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

Why we dn't do more with the river here in Columbia is a mystery. I grew up here and took no advantage of the waterway. The park is a great place to take a walk and enjoy the sights.
