Good for: Large groups
Description: Bubble Tea is a drink made with our original blend of tea and natural flavors served over sweet and chewy pearls. These pearls also known as “bobas” and are made from tapioca starch and taste faintly like caramel-flavored Jell-O. We give you a big and fat straw so that you can enjoy your drink and chew your pearls. A healthier version of a smoothie; bubble tea is low in sugar and calories! We have over 40 flavors to choose from; you can create thousands of flavor combinations or try one of our Signature Bubble Creations. At Bubble Tea Cafe we can “Freeze Your Bubble”, which is similar to a smoothie OR we can ”Shake Your Bubble” , served shaken over ice.

This is a place to stop if nothing else to try a Bubble Tea. They are really quite good, and come in more flavors than I can count.

It is located between the State Capitol building and the campus of the University of South Carolina, so be prepared to look for parking. But it is well worth the effort.

We tried the desserts once again and they were GOOD! Ryan was so cordial to offer to "replace" the desserts with their most recent offerings. Truly the peanut butter pie is the BEST I have ever had! It is worth a trip, from wherever you are, to try it! The cookie crust is delicious, the light and creamy peanut butter filling has tidbits of peanuts in it and the whole thing is drizzled with chocolate syrup; Heaven indeed! :)

Great place to get a drink in the middle of a shopping day. They always have good suggestions for new drink ideas too. Sometimes can take a while if there's a crowd since there's usually only 1 person working, but what you'd expect from a tea/coffee type shop.

The Bubble Teas are quite good; however the desserts are not even average. The red velvet cake was dry. The brownie was so, so. The chocolate cake was the best item with a very buttery frosting. The plain cheesecake tasted like fish! Yes, that is correct! My husband and I both said that without any prompting from the other. We will definitely not purchase any more desserts from Bubble Tea!

We decided to try this out and glad we did. My boyfriend got the Gamecock and I got the Tiger I think. The bubbles were really cool and fruity. We will go back when in the area. Neat place.
