Thirsty Fellow was where our family ate lunch before our visit to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. It was average food to me personally, but everyone who got pizza thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t like dressing or a lot of toppings on my salads, and the regular salad that came with my grilled chicken sandwich was bland even to me, so get something other than the basic mixed greens salad if you’re someone who likes a lot of flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool, there are vintage books on shelves all around the space, and most of the seating is on tall stools. The bathrooms are very nice, clean, and spacious as well. The only thing bad about Thirsty Fellow during my visit was the wait time. We got in and out in about an hour and a half, and that was especially long for us since we had to get to the zoo to have enough time there before it closed.
