“Great fresh Mexican. Not usual chain.”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Great change to usual Mexican. Very limited menu has plenty for everyone. Ingredients were fresh. Guacamole was good and chips were fair. The margarita's were tasty. Pick your blend and then select the tequila type. Atmosphere was somewhat noisy sort of bar scene. Outside seating would nice weather appropriate. Located out from downtown area.

“great food/great prices”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Was visiting University SC with my son. Our front desk manager at our hotel suggested eating here. Great location parking is a bit hard but can park across the street and walk over just be careful very busy street. Loved the look of the inside. The margaritas were very good and reasonably priced. Now to the food. I ordered a taco salad very very good. My son who does not eat mexican food for the most part actually ordered the grilled chicken nuggets that they use in one of their many taco offerings and for that week they had sweet potato fries. He was in heaven. The food hit the spot and I thank our waitress that she was able to go off the beaten path to find him something he would love. the menu is all kinds of tacos lots and lots of options. We had great service and was very full and happy when we left.

“(somewhat) Upscale Mexican”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

Good margaritas, very inventive menu (especially the tacos), and a nice atmosphere. Chips weren't the greatest (perhaps a bit stale?) and parking was a bit of a challenge on a rainy evening. All in all, good food and a nice place to bring a few friends when you're wanting Mexican but don't want to smell like a Mexican restaurant the rest of the night.

“Gourmet Tacos”
Reviewed July 19, 2012 via mobile

First time here. Tried the surf & turf taco and the pulled pork taco. Not like any Mexican taco I have ever tasted. The surf & turf had steak & shrimp which was excellent with a sweet sauce included. The pulled pork had great bbq flavor & was topped by coleslaw & mildly spicy. Great tacos. I will be back to try other flavors!

“Best margaritas in Columbia”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

Undoubtedly the best margaritas in Columbia. The food is good although the menu is somewhat limited and there are nights when the servers appear to be completely overwhelmed (like last night). All in all, a fun spot, especially if you enjoy good margaritas.
