I recently dined there with my husband and son on two separate occasions. The service was great. The prices were reasonable. But the food was nothing to write home about. I don't think "Italian" family recipes are being used as was indicated in the menu. It didn't taste like "authentic" Italian cooking to me, which is what I was loooking foward to. I have had "real" Italian before. You will know it when you taste it. This was not!! We had eggplant parmesean and chicken marsala. Both were bland. On the second visit we ordered chicken piccata and some kind of chicken and pasta. These actually had more flavor than during the first visit. The salads were good. Not the best tiramisu I've ever had and the french silk pie was not fench silk pie. Lastly....the bread is microwaved!! What "real" Italian restaurant does that...I have never heard of such. I have an affinity for bread...so that just floored me because it is one of things I look forward to when I am going to eat Italian. I don't want soggy or cold bread...it should be oven baked.
