In December there was not much to see. Lots of renovations being done in areas hard hit by spring/summer floods. Our purpose was specifically to view student renovations to the duck pond which will aerify and clean the water. Students did a great job with the project.

Hey, let's take an old-fashioned walk. . . Take any of the numerous trails and you'll enjoy all sorts of trees, flowering plants and ground cover. There are several great places to sit and take a break or soak up the day. They have one of the largest exhibits of hosta varieties you'll ever find. I've been to some beautiful weddings here, too. Not a bad spot for relaxing walk with the one you love.

I actually asked my wife to marry me on one of the garden trails. Beautiful all year long and worth a visit if you like flowers, bugs, birds, streams, frogs etc... This is a great place to take a walk take your lunch or ask the love of you life to marry you like I did! Dogs must be on a leash and please stay on the trails there is a lot of fragile habitat. If you are in the area looking for plants check out the fundraiser sale they do every year, great value for plants that have been well cared for.

The botanical gardens are a favorite place to visit. It is a very large area with many different floral displays. In addition, they have 2 sales event every yeat and we have bought some wonderful plants. If you are visitor to Clemson you must put this on your schedule to visit.

My family and I love spending time here and taking photos. My boys love to picnic at the pond and feed the ducks and koi.
