Stayed over a football weekend (Go Tigers!) and was very pleased. Room was clean and neat and extras in the bathroom came in handy. The breakfast was quite delicious from crisp bacon to kettle oatmeal (outstanding). And Jamal at the front desk gave us excellent suggestions and directions for both lunch and dinner. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is a very short distance to the Clemson campus, football stadium and many restaurants and shopping. Clean rooms and friendly staff made is a great stay. I thought the price was extreme - $289 per night for a home game weekend, but I guess they get it due to the location. I will look elsewhere next time to save money.

Hello,
Boston played a great game! Thank you for staying with us on your visit to Clemson. Football home games are at a higher rate with all hotels in Clemson and I am glad our staff and clean rooms made your stay. We hope to have you back in the future.

There was a question as to weather we would get there in time to get a role away bed for our grandson. Apparently hotel has only 3. The beds are given on a first come basis. Hotel staff was more than helpful in hunting down the only bed left.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn because the Martin Inn in the Clemson campus was full. The Hampton is our normal second choice. This Hampton Inn is very typical of what I expect in a Hampton Inn: rooms are small but have the basics including a decently sized refrigerator, a small microwave and a small desk and free breakfast. The negatives of this room were a very small vanity in the bathroom and essentially threadbare towels. A train track runs behind the hotel and while I heard the trains, I didn't find the noise to be too obtrusive. The staff was very friendly and responded quickly when I reported a burned out light over the vanity in the bathroom. (Of course it should not have been necessary for me to report this - housekeeping should check for room issues!) Overall a decent place to stay.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I too wish the train would be different and we try our best to make guest aware of its location. I am glad to hear the staff was affective and prompt in handling your request. We welcome you back in the future.
