We live in Bennettsville (a town with no reasonable evening dining establishments) and often drive to Cheraw (nearest town) to eat. We decided to revisit Oskars, last time we ate there it was just-OK back in 2009. This time the meal was fine, actually more than fine. I had the weinersnitchel and my wife the chicken snitchel, potato salad was very good. However, the server, a very young girl, was a bit pensive and uncomfortable, didn't know if she was just inexperienced or not well trained. It did impact our dinner experience, she was pleasant but just hovered a bit too much and didn't communicate very well. We will probably return, but not wait 2 years. Restaurateurs will just need to keep in mind that they need to train their wait staff. Watch out, they do smoke at the bar and it does whafe over to the nonsmoking section. That surely can ruin a meal.
