Our group likes this place - so we must stay here if we are going to be with our friends.
The pool was a delight after venturing out to Charleston. It is locate centrally, so you feel like you are ina fish bowl. But it was warm and clear - so bravo.
The food again was mediocre, but with so many eateries in Charleston why would you eat at a hotel?
We attended our closing banquet in the dining area - which is located just off the entrance and front door. Staff was rude - as my hubby and I went to take a seat next to the last table where the group was, we were told we HAD to sit with the group. There weren't any double seats together - so we thought we would take the next table. After asking for a manager the man begrudgingly allowed us to sit by ourselves at the table next to the group.
Front desk staff were always helpful and happy - as we needed a car to go to a restaurant and they had one there in 10 minutes.
Plenty of stores near by. There is a Costco just 7 minutes away, and a Total wine store 15 minutes away.More
