I just want to say that The Indigo Inn was the perfect place for our first "Sister Trip!" It felt like home away from home. Breakfast always included fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries, bagels and something hot! My two sisters and I loved gathering with the other guests in the courtyard in the morning to eat and exchange pleasantries. We even made a few friends! Happy hour in the afternoon was such a treat. The wine was so refreshing after a long day of sightseeing and the delicious snacks were like a little meal! The double room was perfect for the three of us. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. We were right next to The Fig Restaurant, so the location was great. We walked everywhere without a problem! Thank you Indigo Inn, for making our stay so special. I will definitely recommend you to my friends!

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and found it very quiet. I personally would not recommend the first floor because the doors open up to the courtyard and it might get a little noisy.

My husband and I returned to Indigo Inn in mid-May for yet another Charleston getaway. Returning to the inn always reminds me of visiting a dear friend. The management and staff, most of which have been employed with Indigo for many years, are so welcoming and hospitable during our stay. The location of the inn is so convenient to all the attractions that historic Charleston has to offer. Most are within walking distance of the location. The complimentary hunt breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese are always ample and delicious. We leave each visit to Indigo Inn eagerly looking forward to the next one. We're already planning ahead to another trip in September.

Room Tip: Although we usually stay in our favorite room each visit, all of the rooms that we have been in over the years are very nice and tastefully furnished . We have never encountered a problem with any of the rooms.

A friend and I stayed at the Indigo Inn during the Spoleto Festival. It is in the historic district and very easy to get to many places. The Inn was very clean and everyone from the manager to the maids were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always varied and delicious. There is always coffee and tea available in the lobby. In the early evening wine, cheese, crackers, and a dip are always offered. I would definitely stay there again.

I just returned from Charleston and took in the Spoleto Festival all for the first time but hope to continue for years to come. The Inn was awesome, rooms were clean and charming, walking distance to everything and the staff couldn't have been better. Breakfast is included as is a wine and cheese Happy hour all in the charming courtyard. This is truly a Hidden Gem! Our conceierge, Jerrica, was totally great always suggesting the best ! Can't go wrong here!

Room Tip: all rooms are located around ht ecourtyard so there really is no bad room!

If you are looking for a perfect central location for historic Charleston in a reasonably priced hotel, then book a stay at the Indigo Inn. The rooms are well appointed and easily accessible as the rooms face a lovely inner courtyard. This garden courtyard has many lovely chairs and tables which are used by travellers for breakfast or later in the day after to relax after a long day of touring the city. The breakfasts are excellent. Each evening from 5 to 7 there is a wine & cheese (and other goodies) laid out free for all guests - a great way to unwind. The staff is very courteous and very helpful for all travellers needs.
