stopped in for a quick take out lunch.
restaurant was clean and inviting, sparsely decorated, but tastefully done.
my wife ordered the kung pao chicken with fried rice and spring roll.
first thought was, "what a small order", but it was plenty of food for a lunch special for her.
the fried rice was kind of chewy and lacked any additions...just rice coated with soy i guess.
the spring roll was typical, but a nice crunch to it. the chicken and green peppers had a nice flavored sauce.
i ordered the hunan shrimp with fried rice and spring roll.
i too thought what a small order, an i still think so. a little more is always better!
i was happy with the hunan sauced shrimp and veggies that accompanied the 6 or so nice sized shrimp.
grand total for the 2 luncheon specials was $17.00 +/-.
we still are trying to find a chinese joint that compares to the options we use to get in the northeast.
boneless sparerib strips, fried rice that is made up of more than rice, teriyaki strips??? any thoughts??
