We had a room with a king and twin bed for three adult women. The room was very large, clean, and well appointed, breakfast was very good. Coffee was available early, a big plus! Would stay here again. Were able to sit on the side porch and enjoy a glass of wine, very lovely!

Room Tip: We had the room with a king and twin bed, was perfect for three adult women! Very happy with accommodations! Breakfast was very good. A little noisy on the street but did not disturb our sleep.

We stayed in room 4 for 3 nights. It was a nice size, and a perk was direct access to the second floor piazza where we could relax listening to the water feature. The staff was helpful and unobtrusive. The breakfasts were good. I usually opted for the fruit parfait, but had the eggs benedict on my last day. I wish the would offer it later, as I don't like to set my alarm to get ready for breakfast early while on vacation. However, they did allow my fiance to take a tray to me in our room. It ended at 9am daily. Parking is an issue in this city, so it was great that the inn has its own parking area (for regular-sized cars). We walked all over the city each day. It took us 10 minutes each evening to walk to numerous restaurants on King Street. We felt perfectly safe in this neighborhood filled with college students; though parts were pretty dark. The free wifi was great. The inn offers numerous brochures, local magazines, and menus available from many local restaurants. It was nice to offer afternoon wine and treats each day, so guests could mingle. Although our room had a mini fridge, it was nice for them to have a shared mini fridge in the lobby with water, iced tea, a coffee machine and tea bags always available. A drug store was within a 5-minute walk, so were 3 or 4 restaurants. There was a ceiling fan in our room, and we were told where the shared temperature settings were located on our floor. The shower head was heavenly and the water was hot. Although it was just the two of us this time, this room had an extra twin bed for a third person, if needed.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the street noise. We had no issues with that, as some did. Also, pay attention to the bathroom option. Some rooms offer a private bathroom outside your sleeping room. The pictures are accurate on theire website.

My mom, sister and I had the best weekend staying here recently and felt very welcomed by our innkeeper, Marie. With the evening wine and cheese soiree's we were able to meet some nice people from all over the country and share our day. Our room was charming and very comfortable plus the breakfast was a real treat each day (orange-nut glazed croissant french toast, for example). The location is great and we could walk to dinner each night, easily. I'd come back here every year if I could!!

Room Tip: The sofa bed sleeps just fine in room 2. Some noise from the street, but they have a sound machine that we used to filter noises.

We drove into Charleston on a whim and luckily the Cannonboro had one open room. We were very pleased with our stay. The breakfast was phenomenal. I didn't experience the noise that some have listed on here but we were in the of the house. Would certainly recommend as the service was great! I have seen where people posted some bad pics but you must keep in mind that it is and b&b and therefore and older place. We found it quite comfortable.
