We had a week of 2010 vacation to be used by 1/31/11 and after our Florida plans went awry we went to Charleston, a favorite city, and elsewhere. Other comments indicated this hotel was convenient. Absolutely true. Despite 45 degrees and brisk wind we walked plenty-even to dinner after dark.
The facility is fine with rooms actually reflecting ambience not usually found in this price range. The breakfast was extra at $9.75 but the buffet selection was good and the price compares to nearby restauurants. Parking is free which is another plus. The only draw back-well only if you're sensitive to being amongst lots of senior citizens-is that they comprised nearly all the guests. Oh yeah, we're seniors, too. Go figure.More
