“One of our new Charleston faves”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

This was our second visit. The first time we sat at the bar and just had a late night snack and wine. This time we wanted to try a full meal and we weren't disappointed. I love that almost all the wines are available by the half glass, full glass or bottle, and they offer about a dozen or more wine flights, so you can have sort of a mini wine tasting with your meal. I had flat iron steak and my husband had the sea bass and both were off the chain delicious. Can't go wrong here.

“Great Happy Hour/Dinner”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

If you're looking for great, small happy hour eats and a $4 menu in a classy location, look no further. Social is a great spot to unwind, enjoy a glass of wine, some good whiskey and food. My wife and I enjoy the various flights of wine as the bleu cheese chips. You simply can't beat the value. It's been a while since I've had dinner here, but the food is always prompt and delicious. You just cannot go wrong. I highly suggest patronizing Social.

“Great for a Drink or a Meal”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Located at 188 East Bay Street, Social is a great place for a drink, lunch or dinner. The wine list offers something for everyone and prices run from moderate to high. The food is very good and reasonable priced. From pizza to scallops, Social offers a wide variety of lunch and dinner choices. On my last visit, I had the scallops and they were outstanding. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. Although there are numerous TVs located around the bar and dining area, Social is not a sports bar. Great place to meet friends or if traveling with kids (young adults) to have a pizza in the dining area.

“Awesome dinner”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

We and I had our first dinner in Charlestown here and it was amazing. We had the restaurant week menu and the value was great. Food was amazing and service was just as amazing. Diver scallops, flat iron steak, sea bass, bruschetta and banana cream pie!

“Good Choices for a Family' Varying Tastes”
Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

We ate here for Christmas Eve. We arrived early, 5:30 p.m., when the restaurant was not so busy. Everyone found something very pleasing to them on the menu. The wine and cheese were exceptional. The desserts amazing! By the time we left, 7:30 p.m., the restaurant was filling up. The noise level was fine. We will eat here again when we return to Charleston.
