We took the twilight "mini" tour. It was approximately 40 minutes around town. Very infomative and fun. Our tour guide was great!

Our tour guide (Tim) was fantastic. He did a great job describing the buildings and the city in general. We only had to wait about 20 min for our tour (about 2:30 pm).

My only recommendation for families with little kids is that the length of the tour is a little tiresome for younger children. While my children (age 7/5) were initially excited about the horses and seeing the houses, architecture and history only keeps their interest for so long.

Our first time to Charleston and you have to definitely take a carriage tour. There are so many carriages and I really don't know why we picked this one over the others because Palmetto is so busy and others may be just as good and weren't busy. But that said, Al was a great guide. We did book the carriage/boat tour combo which was a good deal and the boat tour was great.

What a great way to see and learn about Charleston. This was our first trip so we didn't know anything about anything. Take the tour was perfect as we didn't have to walk aimlessly around in the hot sun and crowds. We learned so much about the history from our great tour guide. We did the tour on an early Sunday morning which really helped reduce the heat and crowds. They horse was beautiful too. "Lorretta". Best part of our trip!

My wife and I went on the ghost tour and had a lot of fun. The tour guide was wonderful. Wish I took notes because I can't remember everything, but we have lots of pictures of haunted houses and dungeons. If you want a ghost tour and don't want to walk, I recommend you go with Palmetto Carriage Works.
