From Oops to Louis Vutton there's shopping for everyone along King St. Brand new restaurant "The Ordinary" (fabulous raw bar -- "Moscowed" oysters are a bit over the top with domestic caviar and creme fraiche atop really fresh local oysters). King is lined with a great variety of restaurants, but it's worth a detour now an again to visit the others between King and Meeting.

Please note that King St has THE greatest concentration and variety in any given half mile area of shoe stores that I've ever seen.

Mix of high end stores, diverse dining choices and general good people watching opportunities. Lots of dog bowls outside many stores, very dog friendly city. Amazing antique stores and galleries are lower on King, well worth visiting. The whole street is worth a walk up or down.

More like your usual chain stores mixed in with some really high-end stores. I was expecting a more unique shopping experience. Not interested in buying things (on vacation) that I can get at home.

A bunch of upscale chain stores, all overpriced. At least at the mall you have air-conditioning. The only local places were restaurants. Be careful if you go to the wrong end of King street, the area is run down.

Lower King Street is nothing more than standard and some up-scale national chains. Upper King Street had a few local-flavored shops, but only one stood out - Cupcake: where we snacked on a delicious dessert of, you guessed it, cupcakes.
